How To Play
Download and Install:
Download AppLock from the Google Play Store and install it on your Android device.
Set Up a Locking Method:
Open the app and choose your preferred locking method: password, pattern, or fingerprint. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your chosen lock.
Lock Apps:
Navigate to the app's main screen and select the apps you want to lock, such as Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, or any other app. Tap the lock icon to secure these apps with your chosen lock method.
Use the Photo & Video Vault:
To hide private pictures or videos, open the Photo & Video Vault section in AppLock. Add the media files you want to keep secure. These files will be removed from the Gallery and accessible only through the vault.
Enable Advanced Protection:
To prevent AppLock from being uninstalled without your permission, go to the Protect section in AppLock and enable Advanced Protection. Follow the prompts to activate AppLock as a device administrator.
Activate Random Keyboard & Invisible Pattern:
For additional security, enable the Random Keyboard and Invisible Pattern features from the settings menu. This will make it harder for others to guess your password or pattern.
Change Password:
If you need to change your password, open AppLock, go to the settings, and select the option to change your password. Follow the instructions to update it.
Recover Forgotten Password:
If you forget your password, tap the AppLock icon, click the icon at the top right corner of the lock page, and select "Forgot Password." Choose to recover your password using either your security answer or your security email.
Open Hidden AppLock:
If you’ve hidden AppLock, you can access it by:
Opening your Gallery, selecting a picture, and clicking the share button to find and select "Open AppLock."
Long pressing the home screen, clicking Widgets, finding "Open AppLock," and dragging it to the home screen.
Entering a specific code in your dial pad as instructed by the app.
