How to use:
Download and Install:
Download the Compass Maps app from the Google Play Store for Android or the App Store for iPhone. Install the app on your device and open it to start navigating.
Calibrate the Compass:
For accurate readings, you may need to calibrate your device’s compass by moving it in a figure-eight motion. Follow the on-screen instructions to ensure proper calibration.
View the Compass:
The app will display a compass interface showing the cardinal directions (North, South, East, West), with a pointer indicating the direction you're facing. You can also see the degrees of your heading (e.g., 90° for East).
Access the Map:
Tap the map icon to view a detailed map of your current location. The app uses GPS to pinpoint where you are and displays it on the map, along with any nearby landmarks or points of interest.
Navigate to a Destination:
Enter a destination in the search bar to get directions. The app will calculate the best route and display it on the map, while the compass guides you in the right direction as you move.
Switch Between Map Types:
