How To Play

Collect Mushrooms: On your turn, you can choose to collect mushrooms from the forest by drawing cards from the deck. You will encounter different types of mushrooms, such as Morels, Chanterelles, and others. Some mushrooms are more valuable than others, so choose wisely! Cook Mushrooms: To score points, you need to cook mushrooms by placing them in your cooking pot. To do so, you must gather a matching set of mushrooms (e.g., three Chanterelles). The more mushrooms you cook, the higher your points, but be careful not to overcook! Use Tools: Equip yourself with tools like the “Cooking Pot” or “Basket” that will help you gather and cook mushrooms more efficiently. These tools allow you to hold more mushrooms or cook mushrooms in more valuable combinations. Tools can be obtained by playing specific cards. Manage Your Hand: You have limited space in your hand of cards, so make sure to manage your cards wisely. Discard unwanted mushrooms to make room for more valuable ones, or use them for tools that can help you cook or collect mushrooms. Scoring Mushrooms: Once you’ve gathered enough mushrooms, you can cook them for points. Each mushroom type has its own point value when cooked. Be sure to focus on cooking mushrooms that give you the highest score. Strategize: The key to victory in Morels is balancing between collecting mushrooms, using tools, and cooking them at the right moment. Timing is critical, as cooking too early or holding onto mushrooms too long can cost you valuable points. Endgame: The game ends when the deck is depleted or when a set number of turns have passed. At that point, the player with the highest score, based on the mushrooms they've cooked and any bonus points they’ve earned, wins the game.
